Located on a historic shipyard site of the local fishing and marina harbour, the building has maintained the maritime history of its surroundings. It offers calming vistas of the Trave river and - depending on your vantage point - full or partial views of the harbour.

How to get there

The apartments are an hour and a half's drive from Hamburg International Airport. We recommend hiring a car if you want to explore, but you can also catch the high-speed service from Hamburg Central Station to Lübeck, and take a bus the rest of the way, which should take you around two hours overall.

Please note that in the neighbourhood of Dockside Travemünde, the residential area "Hafenquartier" is in the final stages of construction. This may result in visual and acoustic disruption which is beyond the hotel's control. More information can be found here.

Please also note the hours of reception are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you are due to arrive outside of opening hours, please inform the property in advance so that check-in arrangements can be made.

Whether you’re an experienced boatswain or a landlubber, you’ll find something to keep you occupied in Travemünde and its surrounding area. There’s an abundance of nature here, from the Aalbeek-Niederung Nature Reserve to the long stretches of beach that overlook the bracing Baltic Sea; the nearest beach is 2.5 kilometres away, perfect for a relaxing morning stroll. Right next door to the property is the enthralling Sand sculpture museum, and there are also several yacht clubs around if you want to hire a boat and get out on the high seas. Hamburg is also just an hour away by car if you want to explore further afield.
