For anyone seeking some urban excitement, the thriving city of Bonn is only a short drive away. The birthplace of Beethoven and the former capital of West Germany, historic Bonn is full of culture and character. Original manuscripts and instruments can be found at The Beethoven House, and true aficionados can’t miss the Beethoven Fest Bonn, a classic musical festival that runs from mid-September to mid-October.
