Property details

Step back in time and enjoy a traditional stay at a rural Swedish palace just 40 minutes from Stockholm - includes breakfast and dinner
  • Regal retreat: Soak up countryside serenity and almost 400 years of history at Häringe Slott, a Swedish royal residence brimming with eclectic charm and set within a large nature reserve. Beyond the trees and inside the palace, expect plush, antique furnishings, crystal chandeliers and walls decked with masterpieces both old and new.

  • Palace fun: There’s plenty to do at Häringe; how about a dip in the Olympic-sized outdoor pool - the first of its kind in Sweden - or a game in the original 1930s bowling alley? Perfect for a few moments of peace and relaxation, the sauna sits on the end of a pier looking out over the archipelago. If you prefer to stay active, you could explore the running and bike trails that wind through the beautiful nature reserve, some leading to stunning viewpoints over the sea.

  • Breakfasts and banquets: Start your day with the palace breakfast, a simple but tasty buffet spread, and return later on for plates of fine-dining cuisine surrounded by the elegance of the castle dining rooms - think painted beams, ornate drapery and parquet flooring. End the evening at the bar, sipping on a classic cocktail.
