Property details

A gorgeous, five-star mansion on the romantic Greek island of Santorini - includes breakfast, a massage and an optional honeymoon suite with Jacuzzi
  • Idyllic setting: Zannos Melathron is set on a hillside in the picturesque village of Pyrgos. The five-star boutique hotel's romantic history tells the tale of a grand 19th-century mansion that was built by local ship-owner and wine magnate, Michael Zannos. It was given to his daughter as a wedding gift, along with the adjoining 18th-century Renaissance villa.

  • Sumptuous suites: Accommodation has been thoughtfully decorated whilst retaining original features - think vaulted ceilings, marble-clad baths, and the odd antique furnishing. Twin this with soft lighting from lamps and rustic interiors, you'll marvel at the understated glamour oozing from your abode. Opt for a Honeymoon suite for the ultimate luxury of your own private veranda and outdoor Jacuzzi to bubble away in.

  • Authentic eats: The hotel's restaurant serves up the very best of local gastronomy throughout the day: eat in the atmospheric small space with exposed stone walls and romantic candle-lit glow, have breakfast delivered to your room, or dine out on the terrace and take in the wonderful island views from your prime spot.

How to get there

Zannos Melathron is conveniently located just 5 kilometres away from Santorini Airport. It is worth noting that the hotel sits at one of the highest points on the island, therefore there is no vehicle access to Zannos Melathron, and you'll need to walk up and down a steep hill - or take a donkey ride - to reach a taxi service in the town just down the hill.
