Rome is certainly a city of world-famous sights - like the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps - so it’s good to be in the centre of the action! Don’t miss the nearby Pantheon, an incredible Roman temple turned basilica with an impressive dome that was the largest in the world for over 1300 years. Art buffs won’t want to miss the Galleria Borghese and even a jaunt into Vatican City to visit the Sistine Chapel (book in advance), but smaller spots like the Galleria Colonna and Galleria Doria Pamphilj hold just as many treasures in their palatial halls - and half the crowds!
